I am having a mini-exhibition of my glass artworks and samples from PhotonArt project at the French Institute in Helsinki 1-17.6.2022. Moreover the institute is organizing a Café scientifique talk around the new era of glass. Talk is held on 16th of June, glass scientists Laeticia Petit and Jonathan Massera – and glass artist yours truly – are talking about past, presence and future of glass!

My exhibition Thread of Life is now over, many thanks to the gallery, Gumbostrand Konst & Form – and all who visited the show. Here are few pictures I took before dismantling the exhibition:
Let’s continue with the strange times we’re living the best that we can. I don’t have other exhibitions coming up in near future, but some projects and ideas are active in my mind.

Thread of Life is a collection of my newest work – you’ve never seen these before anywhere else. There are both illustrated vessels with imagery from my time in New York and engraved pieces with light feature. I’ve been working with these pieces for a good year now, and I really hope you will come and see them yourself.
Gumbostrand is located on the coastline between Helsinki and Porvoo, exact address: Vainuddintie 72-28, Söderkulla.
The exhibition extends to 17th of January, the gallery is mainly open Friday to Sunday, but for winter season 18.11.–20.12.2020 Wednesday to Sunday. Do check the exact opening times from gallery’s website konstoform.fi
I am excited to be visiting Netherlands after a while! My and Elina Salonen’s glass art are part of Art Gallery Rozendaal‘s Festive Month Exhibition. The exhibition opens mid November and goes on until 22nd of December. Me and Elina are bringing a set of nature inspired glass art to the show, we both work with delicate motifs on unique glass sculptures. Ýou are most welcome to see our work at the exhibition!
The gallery is located in southern tip of Netherlands, in a town called Montfort in Limburg province, near both Belgian and German border. Art Gallery Rozendaal is open on Saturdays and Sundays, 11am to 5 pm, and also via appointments.

Designtori, Tampere is held this weekend, my glass art and design are part of Galleria Rajatila’s sales exhibition. Designtori is open Saturday and Sunday 11am-5pm, free entrance, welcome! Something small and modest this time, this asymmetrical tumbler received honorable mention in Finland 100 Glass Design Competition by The Finnish Glass Museum. The competition had two categories and this one was for serially produced memento item for Finland’s 100 years of independence. Happy birthday Finland and congratulations to all winners of the competition!
